Ireland
Following the disposal of its interest in the Seven Heads Gas field, in February 2006, Ramco transferred all of its remaining exploration interests in Ireland under a new subsidiary Lansdowne Oil & Gas plc.
On 21 April 2006, Lansdowne was separately admitted to AIM, while simultaneously raising £1.6 million in cash from new investors. The IPO reduced Ramco’s interest in Lansdowne to 86% and after the sale of 25% of the shares in Landsdowne in June 2007, Ramco currently owns 61% of Lansdowne.
Details of Lansdowne’s assets and activities can be found on its own website www.lansdowneoilandgas.com.
