Litigation Update

Ramco Energy plc ("Ramco" or the Company)

Ramco is pleased to announce that, following the decision in its favour in the Tenge case in the Texas Court of Appeals last week, yesterday it received confirmation from the Court of Session in Scotland that all inhibitions and arrestments placed on the Company and its assets have been lifted.

The Court of Session also accepted Ramco’s claim for recovery of its expenses in the Scottish proceedings. The amount recoverable will be determined at a future date by the Auditor of Court after detailed review of the expenses by Ramco's law accountants.

Ramco has also presented an uncontested motion to the Texas Court for the return of all share certificates and other documents it had turned over to that Court.
